The detail view brings together all information and functions for an object. You can review its details, view its history and carry out various actions.
How do I open the detail view?
Go to the object list and double-click the object you want to view. The detail view will open in either side view or focus view. To switch between views, click the expand or list-view icon in the top-right corner.
Where can I find the object’s basic information?
To the right of the object photo, you’ll see its name, category and scan code. Its status is highlighted in colour underneath.
Where can I find the history, tasks and reservations?
In the header of either view, you can switch between the object’s details, history, tasks and reservations.
Where can I find the actions for my object?
All actions for your object—such as creating documents, duplicating, merging, observing, sharing, adding it to the product catalogue or retrieving the Vitra product passport—are located below the basic information. Click More to see all available actions.
Where can I find the field groups and their object fields?
Field groups organise object fields by topic, so you can see related information together. In side view, scroll down to see the field groups one after another.
In focus view, the field groups are listed one below the other to the right of the object fields. Click a group to jump directly to that section. The section currently displayed is highlighted in bold.
When does the Save button appear?
The Save button appears as soon as you edit a field. Click it to save your change. You can also reset your changes.
