The Vitra Product Passport lets you add your furniture quickly and accurately. Instead of recording each object individually, looking up model names and researching material details, you can use the information and images provided directly by the manufacturer.
Prerequisite:
To be able to record objects using the Vitra Product Passport, you will need the feature of the same name. If it is not yet included in your licence, please send us a request here.
In the menu bar, click Objects, then Add.
Next, choose how you want to add the object. In this example, click Vitra Product Passport.
In the form that opens, enter the Vitra serial number of your furniture. You can usually find it on the Vitra label on the underside of the object. To retrieve the information, click the yellow Vitra logo to the right of the search bar.
The detail view will then show the information and images the manufacturer has provided for the furniture. You can edit these and fill in any other fields as needed. For example, you still need to add the scan code. To save the object, click Add at the bottom of the page.
