With seventhings you create documents for processes like handovers, scrappings or damage reports in no time. Instead of transferring data manually, you use your existing object information for different documents. That way you save valuable time and ensure seamless documentation of your inventory.
Note:
To create a document, you must first set it up as a PDF template according to your requirements. Click here to find out how to do this.
Creating a document for multiple objects
First, click on Objects in the main menu. Search for the items you need and select all objects that should appear in the document using the checkboxes (1) on the left-hand side. (If you want to refresh your knowledge on filtering within the object list, feel free to check out this article.)
Now click the download icon (2) in the top right corner of your object list and choose the PDF option (3).
Next, select the document you want and click Create.
A window now opens showing the complete document. You can download it or print by clicking on the arrow in the top right corner.
Creating a document for a single object
If, for example, you want to create a damage report for a single item, you can also do this directly via the detail view. Open the three-dot menu in the top right corner and choose Create document.
Now select an existing template from the drop-down menu or create a new template. Once created, the document is saved directly on the object under Documents, so you can even sign it immediately in the app.
