Are you looking for a specific piece of furniture or a technical device during your rounds? The search function in our app allows you to track down any asset in a flash, saving you valuable time.
First, open the seventhings app on your smartphone and log in with your credentials. On your dashboard, tap the Search Asset button.
You are now in the quick search bar. Either type your search term directly into it, or click inside it first to select which field you want to search in from the drop-down menu.
Note:
The field you wish to search by must be a text field and must have been marked as Visible in app in the web app under Settings > Inventory fields.
Would you rather search directly from your current list view? Simply tap the magnifying glass icon in the top right corner of your asset list. Use the quick search bar that opens up as described above.
