A picture is worth a thousand words. With photos, you can instantly recognize your assets and document their current condition.

First, open the seventhings app on your smartphone and log into your account. Then, open the detail view of the desired asset. To do this, scan the object's barcode or find it using the search bar.

Now, tap directly on the plus symbol in the Photos / Condition field.

Now, decide which data source you want to use. If you want to capture the current condition of the object, tap Camera. If you already have a suitable photo saved on your smartphone, choose Photo and Video Library instead. Alternatively, you can also upload documents.

Once you have taken a new picture, you can rotate it to the left or right, or retake it by tapping the curved arrow in the middle. You can use the frame at the top of the screen to adjust the (square) image crop. When you are finished, tap Select.

To save the photo to the asset, tap Save in the detail view of the object.

Tip:

If there are several images, the first photo is always displayed as the cover photo. If you want to change this, press and hold or drag the relevant image to reorder the photos.
