Have you ever wondered what the total value of your fixed assets is, what the total purchase price for specific cost centers amounts to, or what the average price of your fleet vehicles is? Then you’ve come to the right place! We will explain how you can easily display the average and total sum.
Important:
You can only evaluate numeric and currency fields. To get meaningful results, make sure these fields are filled out for all your assets.
First, go to your asset list and filter it according to your desired criteria. For example, by a specific cost center or by vehicles at a certain location. The average price and the sum are calculated based on the displayed/filtered assets.
Important:
Make sure that the Purchase Price field (or any other numeric/currency field relevant to you) is visible in your list view. In this article, we explain how to do that.
To the right of every numeric or currency field (in our example, the Purchase Price), you will see a small 1-2-3 icon.
Clicking on it opens an info box where you can see the average value of the respective field on the left and the sum of the values on the right.
