Find out here how you can transfer assets to employees and external parties.

1. Identify assets (optional)

  • We recommend creating a new Yes/No field "Transfer" or using the "Asset Status" field (if available) to mark assets that are no longer needed. Here's how to do that.

  • Make the field visible on the scanner.

  • During the next inventory count, the new field "Transfer" can be selected and marked as "Yes" directly when scanning the asset. This speeds up the transfer process.

2. Select assets for transfer

  • Optional: Set the filter in the "Transfer" field to "Yes". Learn how to do this here.

  • Use the checkboxes to select all assets that are no longer needed and should be transferred to employees or external parties.

  • Click on MORE (MEHR) and then Offer in Circularity (In Circularity anbieten).

3. Specify category & price

  • Determine the correct category for the asset and click Continue.

Note:

This category is required for calculating the residual value and CO₂ savings. You should therefore check the automatic category assignment carefully.

  • Determine the transfer price of the asset. If needed, you can use the seventhings price suggestion tool.

Note:
The seventhings price suggestion calculates the residual value of the asset based on its acquisition date and acquisition price. You can learn more about this here.

4. Verify success

  • Navigate to the Circularity Hub - Shop via the menu bar.

  • The assets are displayed here in the shop. You can filter by item name, among other details, to display the relevant assets.

5. Edit details

  • Adjust the asset details to make them as attractive as possible for potential buyers.

  • You can change the transfer price directly in the Shop. To do this, open the detail view, click on the Transfer Price field, change the value, and click save.

  • You can edit the remaining asset details (such as the name or item description) via the Assets menu. To jump quickly from the shop to the respective asset in the Assets menu, simply click the Asset icon.
