With the Personio interface, you save valuable time instead of spending it on duplicate data entry. You import your employees directly as Persons with first and last name, email address, and department into seventhings. This way you can assign their objects to them in no time or create new user accounts.

Note:

To set this up, your instance must have the Personio Integration feature. If you don't have it yet, you can request it here without obligation. In addition, your user account must have the right to carry out integrations. You can request this from your system administrator.

Please also have your Personio access credentials ready. You will need your Client ID and the Client Secret. For the data sync, read access to your employee data (read employees) is sufficient.

In the web app, go to Integrations in the menu bar, select Personio, and click Select.

Now enter your Client ID and Client Secret in the designated fields. Then click the Save button. If everything worked, you will receive a success message in green text.

You will now see the button for the data sync. Click Sync now. seventhings now starts the sync with Personio.

After a short wait, the system shows you a progress message. In the top-left, you'll find the Event Logs event log. Click this link to check the result of your data sync.

Then switch to Team - Persons. Here you'll find all the persons transferred from Personio. seventhings takes over the email address, first and last name, and department of your employees. With just a few clicks, you can now create user accounts for the persons directly if needed.

Important:

In this data sync, Personio always serves as the leading (master) system. If you change data in Personio, seventhings will overwrite this data in your person list at the next synchronization. If you delete a person in Personio, seventhings will also remove this person from your list at the next sync. However, this only applies if the person does not own any objects or open tasks in seventhings. If the person still has linked Objects, seventhings cannot delete them to protect your data.
