Use these instructions to pair your RFID scanner with your smartphone and our app.

Once you have selected the scanner in the app, you can start scanning. To do this, you must first set your current location so that the app can save it in the asset.

If you have the RFD90, you can scan both room labels (with barcodes) and inventory labels (with RFID or barcodes). To do this, first select ‘Room’ and scan your room label using the trigger.

Note:

On the RFD90, the trigger is split into two parts. The upper half is used to press the RFID trigger, whilst the lower half is used to activate the barcode scanner. You can identify the barcode scanner by the bright light with a red crosshair in the centre.

Now set this room as your default selection. (We explain how to manually set the room as your default selection here.)

Next, select ‘Assets’ from the scan menu and hold down the scanner’s trigger.

All the items you have recorded will be displayed one by one. By clicking on the small arrow on the right, you can edit and save each individual inventory. Clicking on ‘Save 4 Found’ will save the current room and the time in each of the displayed inventories.

Note:

  • If not all labels appear during the first scan, press the trigger again and repeat the scanning process as many times as necessary.

  • Hold the scanner at different heights and in different directions around the room (or walk around) whilst pressing the trigger.

  • Ensure there is a clear radio connection and avoid placing metal objects between the scanner and your inventory to ensure optimal label detection.
