This article only applies to the app: seventhings

To be able to sign a document in the app, you must first assign it to an object as an attachment. The upload can be done via the web application or directly in the app in the object. Please make sure that you can access the document on your mobile phone.

And this is how it works:

First open the app and log in with your personal login details.

After logging in, you will find yourself on the dashboard. Now select search object.

Now use the search bar to find the object in which you want to sign the document. Then click on the relevant object to open the detailed view.

In the detailed view, navigate to the attachment field containing the document to be signed.

Then tap on the document to open it. Then click on the signature icon at the top right of the document.

After the signature mask has opened, tap on the place in the document where you want to insert the signature. Then sign with your finger or a stylus and confirm the signature by clicking add signature.

Note:

Signing on your mobile phone often takes some practice. You have the option to delete your signature using the x in the top right-hand corner of the signature field and sign again.

Your document has now been successfully signed. Then confirm the change in the document with add.

To finalise the procedure, confirm the change in the object data record with save.
