After months of development, we are now releasing our new app. In this article, we'll take a look at the app's new interface together, using the iOS app as an example.

To download the new app, please follow one of these links:

After opening the app, you will be taken to the login page. For a successful login, please enter the URL of your seventhings instance, your email address and your password.

Next you will get to the dashboard. Here you have a direct overview of all objects and rooms that are in your seventhings inventory manager. With a click on the respective button, you can directly access the objects or rooms.

Under objects, an already familiar view awaits you. Here you can directly open an individual object, but also filter or search. This way you can find any object you are looking for. To create a new object, simply click on the plus icon next to the magnifying glass.

If you select a specific object, you will get to the detail view. Here you will find all the information that is already maintained on the object. For a newly created object, you can enter all the necessary information directly here. With a click on the scan icon, directly next to the scan code, it is possible to overwrite the scan code of the object. Below that you will find the plus icon to copy the object.

If you select the scan icon at the bottom of the toolbar, you will get to the view shown below. Here you can start inventorying directly after you have selected the room you are in. Simply scan the QR codes of the labels with the camera.

Under the "Places" icon you can view your location and room structure and move around in it. This makes it possible, for example, to search for a specific room and determine which objects are currently in that room.

And now we hope you enjoy exploring the new seventhings app!
