There are two ways to add a new inventory in the seventhings Inventory Manager:
You can either create it via the web application (we show you how to do this here),
or directly in the app during your inventory process.
Attention:
To be able to create inventories without a scan code, you must ensure that the scancode field is not a mandatory field. To do this, navigate to "Customise inventory fields", search for the Scancode field and deactivate the mandatory field button.
And this is how it works:
Open the app and log in.
Click on "Create objects"
OR
Navigate to the asset list over the navigation bar.
Click on "+"-Icon to create a new asset.
Now you can simply ignore the scan code field and enter all information. Then click on save to create your new asset.
