If you manage a manageable number of users (about 5 to 10 people) in your system, it is often most efficient to define permissions quite individually. This allows you to define exactly which functions are enabled and which actions can be performed for each team member.

Prerequisite:

To make these manual settings, please ensure that the feature Role Management is deactivated in your system settings. This allows you to maintain full flexibility with a small number of users.

To start the configuration, navigate to the Users section within the Settings. If you do not see this tab, you have not yet been enabled for user management—in this case, your administrator can assign the corresponding permissions to you (found under “User Management”).

In the user list, simply click on the small key icon to the left of the email address of the person you want to adjust.

In the overview that appears, you can decide for each category individually whether the respective function should be activated or deactivated. If you are ever unsure about what exactly a term means, simply hover your mouse over the word to display a brief explanation on the right side.

For quick editing, you can toggle the switch directly next to a category (such as Assets or Rooms). This will automatically switch all associated functions on or off.

Note:

For security reasons, you can only assign permissions to other people, not to yourself. If your own permissions need to be changed, please contact your system administrator.
