If you are using the application to take inventory in areas where Internet connectivity is limited or unavailable (e.g. basement), you have the option to scan inventories in offline mode.

Note:

To scan in offline mode, you must first log into the application if you have an Internet connection. This will download the rooms, locations and inventory to your phone.

This is how it works:

First, open the app and log in to the web-enabled section with your personal credentials.

Navigate to your settings in the app and click Enable under Offline Mode.

All data will now be imported. When all data has been successfully imported, the Status box appears. Then click Status.

You will see an overview of all imported rooms, locations, and inventory. The view shows you exactly what data is currently in the application (local) and on the server (web application).

The status also shows whether synchronization is active, when the last synchronization was performed (date, time), and when the next synchronization is due. You can now start scanning inventories without an Internet connection. As soon as you are connected to the Internet again, the rooms and inventories that have been scanned in the meantime will be synchronized with the server.

Note:

The time window between triggering the Synchronize Now function and the next synchronization is 60 seconds. The next synchronization will start automatically.

Please do not log out until you are connected to the Internet again and the synchronization of the inventories scanned in offline mode is complete.
