How do I read the pie charts in the Dashboard?

The pie charts show you at a glance the distribution of your asset data — and even long labels are displayed clearly.

Your pie charts in the Dashboard help you intuitively grasp the composition of your assets. Each segment represents a category — the larger the segment, the more items that category contains.

As soon as you hover your mouse over a segment, two things happen: the segment visually stands out from the rest of the chart, and the focus panel opens to the right of the pie chart. This gives you all the details at a glance. At the very top you see the category's rank — for example, "Rank 2 of 9." Below that is the full name. In addition, the panel shows the absolute number of assets as well as the percentage share of the category out of all assets.

If you move the mouse to the next segment, the focus panel immediately follows along — the new segment is highlighted and the values update. If you move the mouse off the chart, the last active segment stays marked and the panel remains displayed.
