This article only applies to the app: seventhings

Keeping track of your personal objects has various advantages. You can see which objects are assigned to you as a user at any time. Your IT department can also keep track of which technical devices are in use for each employee and can therefore proactively approach users.

There are two ways to see which objects are assigned to each user:

Important:

Please note that the 'User' field is relevant for filtering by user. This is a standard field in seventhings and only shows the users who are also created in seventhings.

  1. You can filter by your name in the 'User' field in the web application to display the objects assigned to you. You can find out how to filter for specific information here: How can I use filters?

  2. You can display your personal objects directly in the app. We will now explain exactly how this works.

And this is how it works:

First open the app and log in with your personal login details.

Then navigate to the settings icon at the bottom of the app bar.

Click on User under Account settings.

An overview appears with the objects that are assigned to you as a user. You can see the exact number in the top right-hand corner. In addition to a picture of the object and the object name, you will also see the corresponding unique scan code.

Note:

By tapping on the object, you can go directly to the detailed view of the object.
